Treasure Coast

Treasure Coast mushrooms are a unique type of Psilocybe cubensis that was initially found along Florida's east coast, known as the Treasure Coast. However, the specific location and the original collector remain unknown.  Although often considered highly potent, quantitative tests suggest it's more on par with average strains.  These mushrooms typically yield small but potent fruiting bodies, measuring around two to five inches in height, with caps reaching up to one inch.  Occasionally, larger specimens up to ten inches tall may appear.  They colonize quickly, offering some resistance to mold and disease. While they are prolific in producing fruiting bodies, they tend to abort before the second flush, making them a bit challenging for beginners.
